Mono\u00ef: an ancestral beauty treatment<\/h3>\n

For centuries, Polynesians have used Mono\u00ef as a beauty treatment and perfume for the whole family.<\/div>\n

The ancestral method consisted of putting the Tiar\u00e9 flower petals in direct contact with the freshly grated pulp of the ripe coconut.<\/div>\n

The Tiar\u00e9 flower used in the manufacture of Mono\u00ef de Tahiti is found only in Polynesia. Monoi de Tahiti is protected by an Appellation d'Origine (AO) which guarantees its authenticity, its quality and its local production.<\/div>\n

The Tiar\u00e9 flower comes from sustainable agriculture: our local partner sources it from a dozen family producers who observe good agricultural practices such as zero pesticides, the use of natural fertilisers (based on fermented fish), the establishment of plant cover rich in legumes, the reuse of macerated flowers for compost...<\/div>\n

According to the specifications of the appellation of origin, Mono\u00ef de Tahiti is the product obtained by macerating Tiar\u00e9 flowers, harvested at the bud stage, in refined copra oil, extracted from coconuts harvested at maturity in the geographical area of French Polynesia on coral soils. In addition, at least ten Tiare flowers must be macerated per litre of oil.<\/div>\n
